I purchased this to create a big space where I can garden, and not have to fight weeds between my potted plants and planters. I live in a place that's surrounded by a field of weeds and wild flowers and a constant breeze. There are also gophers, so I have set up my raised beds and cloth planters on pallets to keep the diggers away and on top of the weed barrier so I didn't have to worry about weeds growing up through my pallets.I felt that spraying for weeds wouldn't be effective (or cheap) and keep the new seeds blowing in from sprouting.I got the 6w x 100long option. I cut a portion to line the bottom of two of my raised bed frames and then cut three sections of even length and spread them out and overlapped them. It definitely measured out to the correct length, which I was betting on when I did my math for the pieces I needed.Cut ends will unravel if you do not pin them. I used a staple gun to pin the ends down for my raised bed. No issues going through multiple layers with the staple gun.It's not the thickest stuff. Old star thistle stems poke through when I walk on those spots. If you're worried about that, you may want to till your space or do more prep work. I weedwacked and raked thoroughly before placing down.If I set up another space for gardening, I'd definitely look at getting more of this but 100 ft was perfect for my project.
